We love adding new departments to our pension plan because it means more hard working volunteers will be eligible for the benefits they deserve.  Our pension plan is affordable for small departments and funds are invested in a professionally managed portfolio. 
We currently have 229 member departments and 4,047 active fire and emergency volunteers that are eligible for disability and death benefits, in addition to retirement, when they become eligible.  We currently service 3,100 retirees and other beneficiaries and process their payments on a monthly basis.  Currently, member fees to departments are just $36/month per active member, payable on a quarterly basis.
